Wellington Wedding Show recap
'Hello' to all of the bridesmaids, mums (and the occasional groom), that we met at the Wellington Wedding Show. This was the first time that the TSB Bank Arena has hosted the show, and exhibitors turned out some great displays. To get in touch with any of the exhibitors see your Wedding Show guide or the online exhibitor directory.
Our Tiare Films tissues (above right) proved popular with visitors to the show. We came up with the idea after a visitor to our stand at the Overseas Passenger Terminal became teary-eyed when watching Mary & Api's wedding highlights.
If you didn't get a chance to watch our wedding videos at the show, a selection can be viewed on our website — these highlights are just a taste of what a wedding film can capture.
Popular wedding dates for 2010/11
The most popular month for the coming wedding season is (once again) February, followed closely by new contender - October. We're guessing that the number '10' holds special meaning for some couples, just as other lucky dates such as 7/7/07 and 9/9/09 have inspired wedding plans in previous years. January and March round out the top four most popular months.
Dates in April are surprisingly less-sought-after - even though this year we’ve had the most settled weather - very little wind or rain and plenty of warm sunny days. If you have yet to confirm a date, April definitely gets our vote.
Early booking discount offer ends May 31st
Until the end of May we’re offering a 10% early booking discount on our popular Pearl package — full ceremony, photoshoot and reception coverage.
To take advantage of this offer contact Justine before 31 May to arrange your free consultation. |

Rarotonga calling
This year two of Rarotonga's most popular resorts had stands at the show. If you've booked your wedding at The Edgewater or The Rarotongan between June 23 and Oct 31, 2010, let them know that you'd like them to book a Tiare Films wedding DVD - or contact us directly.
You can also book us through one of Rarotonga's independent wedding planners.
As Rarotonga is a popular wedding destination, it’s best to book early to secure your date.
New ceremony-only package
For the budget-conscious, we've recently introduced a new island ceremony-only package.
Our Tavake package covers your vows, readings and signing of the register as a perfect memento of your time in paradise.
